Current Hair Care Routine (How I've Grown it Longer)

Hello and Happy Monday! Today, I decided to start off the week by sharing my current hair care routine with you all.  Lately I've gone back to some of my old favorites-- Products that have always given me great results and that I've always enjoyed using. I also discovered a new great product that I've been loving lately.
So along with the actual products, I'm also sharing some of my best tips for keeping hair healthy and strong.  All of these tips and products combined have really helped me grow my hair faster and healthier than ever before. I've been really surprised lately at how fast it's growing (and how little it's breaking).
So I hope you all enjoy it and that you'll maybe pick up a trick or two!

What are YOUR current hair care favorites??

  1. I've been loving Lush's Daddy-O shampoo lately! It really does help eliminate brassy tones in blonde, but I just went even blonder and now I'm looking for a good Sulfate free shampoo and conditioner so it won't turn brassy at all. Do you ever think you will go blonde blonde again or keep it the same as now! It looks really great both ways! Great video of course! :)

    1. Hey Anna! Daddy-O used to be my FAVORITE purple toned shampoo when I was blonde! You're right... it really is awesome stuff.
Thank you! Not sure if I'll ever go back as blonde as I was before, but I'll probably get some soft blonde added in later (like a balayage technique) to brighten it up when all the old blonde ends grow out.

  10. I'm glad you like Pantene (some people get a bit weird about the brand like you said) I love how it leaves my ahir feeling!
I really like Joico K-Pak Revitaluxe conditioning treatment last summer, but it's just not doing the same for my hair at the moment!!! Gah! I rediscovered another treatment that I had in my bathroom - the Hydrating Macadamia Oil Intense Moisture Mask by Organix - It's amazing and so affordable! And smells DIVINE!
I actually started trying Alterna products thanks to your recommendation from a video years ago, still love just about everything I've tried from their range!
I love your hair the colour it is now and I agree, the little natural highlights look fab. This is about my ultimate hair colour at the moment, definitely something I'm aiming for whilst growing out my previously bleached blonde. xxx

  14. Just looked on the Alterna website and it looks like they have the smaller tube of the thickening compound available for purchase - I was even able to add it to my shopping bag! I guess I'm lucky because my salon still carries it (although usually just a couple of bottles). Definitely a holy grail product! haha
