Summer Foundation Routine! Long-Wearing & Natural

Isn't that the idea? We spend all this money and time on makeup.  So applying it in a way that lasts and looks good is usually the goal no matter who you ask.
When the weather gets hot, that goal gets even trickier. Heat, humidity, and sweat can equate to a big ol' mess.

Do you want to know a secret? Getting these amazing results from foundation is definitely not as tricky as it sounds. It's actually super easy if you remember a few of my go-to tips using these products below:

Skin MD Natural moisturizer
Revlon Colorstay Foundation (normal to dry formula)
MAC Studio Finish concealer
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser
Chanel Bronze Universal (tutorial on this product here)
Chanel powder blush in Rose Initiale
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Luminous Light
*Get my Sigma brushes I use in the video HERE

The products alone are great, but how I use them is the trick.  Check out my step-by-step tutorial below!

  1. Love those products!

  2. Great tips, Tiffany. I've been meaning to repurchase/re-try the Colorstay foundation for about 4 years now. My first time using it wasn't so great, but I'm willing to give it a try now!

  3. Loved this tutorial. So easy for every day! I'm definitely going to start using my Skin MD before make-up! I usually don't use it on my face, but I imagine ti would be a nice primer!

  4. Great tips! Your videos are amazing! Kisses from Venezuela!

  5. Great tutorial for summer! I hate wearing foundation during summer because it's so hot and I can never make it stay on!

  6. Thank-you :)
    PS I love your necklace

  7. Awesome tutorial! I find it quite difficult to wear foundation in summer, my face just gets wayy too sticky.

  8. I also use Revlon Colorstay foundation. You're videos are the best and I absolutely love your closet!

  10. I noticed in your last two videos you weren't using the Beauty Blender. Are you favoring the brushes more so for your foundation?

  11. i love fashion but i'm seriously make-up retarded. i'm almost 30 and look about 17 so i decided this was the year i will teach myself how to wear make up. i just googled 'how to apply pink blush' and came across your youtube and your blog. love it! your blog is great and your youtubes are so helpful for me! XOXOXOXOX

  12. Thanks for this video because it really changed the way that I apply my makeup so that I don't have that "wearing too much makeup look"! Now I can wear just enough foundation, then use concealer to conceal, rather than trying to make my foundation my concealer and looking like I obviously have on makeup. I tried this routine recently and really loved it; I looked radiant, alluring and natural. In fact, my sister saw how my makeup looked and asked me to replicate it for her. I told her that I was just following your procedure and that she was right next to me when I was watching the video. I told her that you were giving a natural makeup look tutorial and that's what I did as well. She loved it too! So thank you for your lovely presence and helpful tips; as always; you inspire me!

  13. Love your foundation tutorials! They r very simple and to the point! Great video :-)
