Ok, so before I get ahead of myself, if you haven't heard of IMATS, it stands for the International Makeup Artist Trade Show. It's so fun because it's basically a huge convention full of makeup-y goodness.
Oh, and it's discounted.
Makeup. Heaven.
The show lasts 3 days. The first night, Pro Night, is open to those with a pro card for the event or to exhibitors. Since I was working with Sigma Beauty this year doing makeovers at their amazing booth again, I got in with my exhibitor pass, which was basically awesome. Because I actually got to shop this year!!

Later that night, we headed to dinner with the Sigma Beauty team and some other friends- MakeupByCamila and EleventhGorgeous
Then, we were all set for IMATS day 1... I headed in to do some makeovers at the Sigma Beauty booth...

The crowds for Sigma were intense.
I had so much fun meeting all of you! Thank you so much to all who stopped by to say hello and shop!
That night, we headed to the annual Sigma VIP Party at Pop Champagne Bar...
Thank you, Sigma for an amazing time!
Then, it was IMATS day 2 on Sunday...

Hi Tiffany! Great photos...looks like you had a great time! I wanted to ask you about IMATS in London - it's happening 22 & 23 June 2013. Sigma so far aren't listed as one of the exhibitors and although I'm guessing it's probably too late now, I wondered whether you might consider asking the guys at Sigma whether they would consider it in future... There is only one (online) retailer I know of who sell Sigma in the United Kingdom, and although of course, Sigma will ship internationally, very often you end up paying massive importation charges on top of the cost of shipping. I think Sigma would do well in the UK: the quality of (esp) the brushes and the make up for the price is, I believe, fantastic and unrivaled in the UK. I am sure Sigma have considered how they might expand their business, but if it helps them to know they have fans in the UK, consider this a massive thumbs up for them!

ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great time! I'm soooo glad the weather was behaving, cuz a week or so ago it was FREEZING, and not like LA at all, lol. I was there on Sunday, but missed you again this year---it took forever to get parking! Which is really saying something cuz I usually find parking at Paseo Colorado in no time :p I loved all the New Sigma products and would love to see more tutorials with them, esp the cream eyeshadows! Thanks!
