I had SO much fun shopping and exploring the store that day. It was seriously the best Sephora visit ever.
Around Atlanta, there are three Sephoras I usually visit. This visit to the one at Town Center mall in Kennesaw was so great I had to mention it. I normally don't call out specific stores, but I had the best experience there. From the helpful guy in the fragrance department to the awesome girls throughout the store. They were just extra awesome. Not just because they knew I was a blogger- I don't think the guy had any idea who I was and was so helpful and knowledgeable. It just really made such a great difference.
Ok, I got carried away. Enough Sephora love. But seriously, it was good stuff.
So I hit the Sephora Friends and Family sale (I explain all sale details in the video) and got some really awesome new goodies. I also took advantage of a 20% off sale (with coupon) at Ulta, where I purchased all drugstore items (except one). Then I hit Target for a few more drugstore items I needed.
So both hauls have a little bit of everything, which is fun.
...So much fun that I won't be shopping for makeup for quite some time.

I love the Sephora at Perimeter or Lenox best, but my girls at Alpharetta Location are always great too. I find that the selection varies from store to store. Thanks for the amazing reviews again!

Yeah, people are being told so many different things! I guess we'll have to wait and see. I was told (apparently, so was she) my info by Sephora customer service, by a manager, and by an associate at another store. Who knows at this point! haha
DeleteLove your blog but did you say in this video that you have not found a drug store concealer that you like??? I though you were all over instant rewind and claimed it was the best drug store concealer you found. Maybe my mistake...
ReplyDeleteno no, TOTALLY different concealers!! Maybelline Instant Age Rewind is for the UNDEREYE area :) The Revlon concealer I got was replacing an actual skin correcting concealer (for breakouts, blemishes, redness, etc) that I was replacing my MAC Studio Finish with, which I would never use under my eyes.

DeleteWhat do you think of the new Lumi foundation? I love the fact that it's in pump bottle and it's drugstore! I have oily skin... do you find it leaving you shiny, or do you love it? I want to give it a try!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is beautiful! I recently picked up BareMinerals' corrector/concealer. It's really great so far, super creamy and doesn't cake on. Covers redness/blemishes very nicely.
