Perfect Winged Liner Technique- SO EASY & Long-Wearing

Where makeup is concerned, people generally comment BY FAR the most on three things. My foundation, my eyelashes, and my eye liner. People always want to know the easiest way to create a winged look, because let's be honest, it can be tricky. When I first started using liquid liner years ago, there is NO WAY I could have created a perfect winged look. Working with liquid liner in general can be very tricky for beginners, and something that takes some practice with more traditional formulas.
Luckily, I discovered some "pen" style liquid liners a few years back (when I first used MAC's Penultimate liner) and I was impressed at how easy they were to use. For some reason, using them really didn't "stick" with me until recently. I've been using these "pen" liners non-stop. Seriously, can't remember the last time I used any other type of liner. My favorite I've tried? By far, the Revlon Colorstay Pen.
So if you can use a marker or a pen, you can do this, I swear. Nothing tricky about it. I also am in love with the thinner (but still very pigmented), almost stain-like formulas of these. Perfect for these warmer months because they are so long-wearing.
Alright, so enough pen-liner praise.
Check out the video below for a step-by-step tutorial on how to create a perfect winged look. Did I mention how easy this is?? Seriously. Easy as pie.

xoxo,
Tiffany

  9. I've always wanted to wear a winged liner but have never been able to pull it off. My eyes have like a horizontal indentation from the corners of my eye going outwards. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!

  13. This was so helpful. I've been wanting to venture into the world of pen liners. I love how you apply subtle neutral shadows to add some depth to the classic cat eye look. I also really like how give advice for women with darker skin tones than you - it's something that isn't always acknowledged by beauty bloggers and is super important.

  15. Hi Tiffany. I just discovered your videos and love them! You are so pretty! I'm wondering if you could tell me which eyeshadows you used in the video? My volume is broken on my pc and I couldn't make out what you said. Thanks!

  16. Hi,

I noticed that you have really long eyelashes, I used to have long lashes, too but ever since I used mascara on a daily basis and after cleaning it every night, I find that they got shorter, I think or not as thick. How do you maintain thick and long lashes? And also, do you know a product that helps lashes and eyebrows grow thick?

Btw, I just subscribed to your Youtube channel. You have great stuff here in your blog, I'm definitely following.

    Thanks,

  18. Hey Tiffany! First off, I love all your tutorials, I think your great! My question is in regards to the order in which you do your make-up? What gets done first, face, eyes, brows? What do you recommend? Thanks.
