New Nails: NARS Galion

I'm so guilty of finding a particular nail polish I LOVE *cough* Butter Yummy Mummy *cough* and wearing it for months at a time. Whether I do my nails on my own or get a manicure, I'll bring it with me time after time which always prompts my manicurist to giggle and say, "This one again?".
I think I have found that new "signature" color.
I am a sucker for dark nails, however, I'm not a fan of wearing totally black nails. This new NARS shade is perfect. It's a dark blue-gray, and it is lovely. When I was at the nail salon, my manicurist kept commenting on how gorgeous the color was. Then, not one, but two women in the salon checked it out as they passed and asked what it was.
It's just lovely. I think I said that already. But it is. Lovely. :)

It's a shame that I couldn't get any photos to do it justice. It's appears a little lighter than this.
NARS Galion

At $17 a pop, NARS nail polishes are a bit on the pricey side. But I think this one is special enough to justify a splurge.
What do you guys think? Any nail polish you are particularly loving at the moment?

xoxo,
Tiffany

My favorite is "I Wear My Sunglasses At Night" by Catrice. It is a black with lots of tiny sparkles in it. It is awesome even though it is just €2,49.
I am not sure if you can get it in the US though. Catrice is a European brand, I guess.

Nice! Looks like Near Dark from the China Glaze Halloween LE.
But the CG is more on the green side. .

I'm in clinical right now and we can't wear any type of nail polish, nor have long nails. =( That Nars nail polish is gorgeous... I'm so sad! lol

I have too much polish not to wear a different color everyday! That's why I started a blog!

This is a lovely color, I'm totally into dark colors this fall.

Ooo looks like it could be similar to L'Oreal Mystery, I love that hint of deep teal going on with Galion. At the moment I'm LOVING AEngland's Tristam!

I've been spying the new OPI muppets collection. I'm really into glittery polishes at the moment that have multisized glitter pieces in them. The red 'Miss Piggy' one looks to-die-for!

Zoya in Kelly

I've been wearing Zoya's Juicy for weeks now. It's such a great berry color, perfect for fall. At first I hated it because I thought it was too bright and pink, but a few coats makes it deep but still lively. :)

Love it!! I'm slowly transitioning toward dark nail polishes, but I can't seem to separate myself from my nude lacquers :/ I will have to purchase this varnish now in hopes of breaking my streak :D

My favorite nail polish right now is Midnight Cami by Essie. It's a dark blue with blue sparkles. It especially looks awesome in the sunlight!!! :)

Okay, so like everything else that Tiffany raves about, I ran out to my nearest Sephora and purchased the NARS Galion. When I got home and took the polish out of the box I quickly realized that I already had a very similar color, AND, not only did I have a like color, but it was in the EXACT same packaging. Matter of fact, if I were to place a piece of tape over the brand name, I would never be able to tell the difference between the two! So, if you were not able to justify that $17 price tag of the NARS Galion, you can now get the dupe for less than half the price. The color I have is made by ULTA and it is in their professional laquer line. The color is called Total Eclipse. Go to Google and type ULTA Total Eclipse and then hit the images tab so you can see pictures of the color yourself. I always love a good dupe!!

You should check out Essie's Bobbing for Baubles. It's from the new winter collection, Cocktail Bling. It's a lovely dark navy, almost black color.
