My Favorite Eye Liners

I have a confession.

I'm addicted to eye liner. It's been an issue I've dealt with most of my makeup-wearing life. Most days, I feel naked without it. Even the tiniest amount can make me feel put-together.

There are SO many different types of eye liners out there and each type can do totally different things. Different looks require different types. Because of that, it's good to have a few different kinds in your collection.

Because I'm an eye liner addict, I've tried basically every kind out there (seriously) and have narrowed my "Favorite Eye Liners" list down to the following:

Maybelline Master Drama automatic pencil liner
MAC Fluidline
Loreal Carbon Black Lineur Intense
Maybelline Stiletto liner (great alternative to the hard-to-find liner above)
Lancome Art Liner
Make Up For Ever Aqualiner
Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eye Pen
Stila Kajal Eye Liner
MAC Fascinating Eye Khol

They all made my "favorites" for different reasons, of course. So be sure to watch my video below for more details on each one and how I like to use them.

  3. The makeup forever aqua liners are so amazing! I had the same experience...i bought the brown and ended up with turqoise. So frustrating when they aren't in the right spot :( The L'oreal lineur intense is probably my fav black liner...so easy to apply! Thanks for leading me to it lol

  5. You should try the L'Oreal HIP Color Truth Cream Eyeliners, they're highly pigmented, smooth, smudge-proof, and they're very affordable! They're quality is pretty good for a drugstore brand!

  8. Those are all great eyeliners! I love the MAC fluidline but I hate that it dries out after like a month of use. I think the Maybelline gel eyeliner is a great alternative since it's a lot more affordable.

  9. Oh I wish the prices you guys have were the same in Australia.. It's like, $14 for the lash stiletto, but it does work briliantly!
I'm really tempted to buy the automatic pencil from maybelline!

  10. hello,
Thank you for all advice's! My best eyeliner is MAC fluidline but only in Blacktrack. I tried the brown one and it wasn't that good! Anyway I am mad about eyeliners, try so many of them, and still haven't found what I am looking for.
    Take care xoxo

  12. I love the Bobbi Brown gel liner. Haven't tried MAC fluid line yet. I tried the Buxom gel liners but found they needed some touch up toward the end of the day.
I haven't had good experiences with regular thin liner brushes, but the Bobbi Brown thin liner brush is really nice.
Do you like the Bobbi Brown products? Do you still use the Buxom liners.

  14. @Melody I still need to try the Maybelline gels- A lot of people say that about the Fluidline, but I've never had an issue with drying out. I have some that are embarrassingly pretty old :X I find that replacing the lid while you're working with applying the liner helps so it's not just sitting out as you apply it.

  15. @Lo I have tried the Bobbi Brown gel liners- I like them, but I still have always just preferred the Fluidlines. The Buxom liners are AWESOME. I just haven't repurchased them in a while.

  21. Hi Tiffany,

I always watch your videos and I was just waiting an opportunity to talk about eyeliner. Here it is! I'm super allergic and I can't apply eyeliner or eyeshadow to my waterline or I'll have terribly swollen eyes. Can I have perfectly beautiful eye makeup without eyeliner? I always feel that something is missing and I try to compensate with red lipstick or so. :)
