"MAC Me Over" Collection Swatches & Review

I honestly had (still have) mixed feelings about this collection when I saw it for the first time. Lots of re-promoted and permanent colors, a three-part somewhat confusing concept, and a ton of items.
As I've had some time to play around with the items I have, I appreciate it more. While the colors at first glance seem pretty basic, there are some hidden gems. Seemingly "basic" shades that actually have a little something special or different about them. A quad that looks boring, but when applied, contains such a unique and wearable green and purple.
I admit, when I actually used the products, I was surprised.
Oh and I can't forget all the shades work especially well for Fall.

The concept of the collection... still a bit fuzzy to me. But we won't get into all that.

Here are the items I have from the collection. Keep in mind, this isn't the complete collection, just the items I have.
Also, be sure to check out my video review of these items at the bottom of the post.

Did you use a primer when you did the swatches? Cause the swatches I saw on temptalia are not nearly as pigmented.

I agree with you about this collection- not many of the items made me think "I neeeed this" but the Creamy Bisque eyeshadow, Deep Sea nail polish and the eyeshadow quad look pretty.

@sugarbumpkin
To keep the swatches as true as possible, I use the same type of primer I'd use under the product on my face. (eye shadow primer under eye shadows, face primer under blush)

@PinkGlitter
The Creamy Bisque is actually really amazing. Really a perfect highlight color.

think i'll take a pass, it might be interesting after buying it, but theres no guarantee especially with the basic looking front hmm..

would have been awesome to have some deeper shades for fall like oranges and forest greens and deep maroons, oh well

Would you say that the Equilibrium blush is peach or tan? It's hard to tell by the photo. Did you like it with your skin tone?

Wow, if that was one shopping trip thats kinda crazy expensive. After adding all that up thats clearly over $400.00. Even though I love your videos, your collection is a little overboard.
