Review: Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush

Finally. A blush that really impresses me. Until now, I've liked (and loved) a few, but never have I ever found something quite like this. 12 hour wear? Yep. Stays true to color? Check. Controls oil, but nourishes dry skin? Yes. Really. Sounds too good to be true, but this stuff is absolutely amazing!
$25 and available at Sephora.com and wherever Tarte products are sold.

Read what Sephora.com has to say about this product below:

What it is:
A long-wearing, solar-baked blush that lasts up to 12 hours.

What it does:
Infused with natural clay harvested from the banks of the Amazon River and naturally baked by the sun, this nutrient-rich blush benefits all skin types for a fade-free flawless finish for an amazing 12 hours. Inspired by Tarte's best-selling shades of cheek stains and lip tints, the colors range from soft to vivid to suit a wide variety of skintones. For oily skin types, Amazonian clay minimizes oil in and around pores to balance skin and keep product in place. Those with dry skin will benefit from the clay's nourishing and hydrating properties, which naturally restore skin's moisture. Combination skin types can rely on its ability to zero in on skin concerns and deliver benefits to restore complexion harmony. The result? Blush that wears better, longer, and truer!

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Petrochemicals
- Phthalates
- GMOs
- Triclosan

What else you need to know:
This blush features the following Skinvigorating™ ingredients:
- Vitamins A and E, two natural preservatives that act as anti-inflammatory emollients and protect against free radical damage
- Vitamin C, an antioxidant that fights free radical damage and prevents oxidative stress and premature signs of aging, while brightening the skin
- Amazonian clay, a nutrient-rich, multitasking, skin-balancing clay that reduces dryness and flakiness, improves skin clarity, elasticity, firmness, and texture while removing oil from the skin's surface for smooth application and wear

  5. Yeah, no good for people in Europe:D

I have a request. Can you do a short video about your 5 must haves, products what you recommend to your fans. Maybe only products that are available worldwide. I want to check out many products, but most companies don't ship internationally.

  10. I was just looking at these the other day. I am drawn to the tawny-pink colors, and 'Blushing Bride'....I'm glad to hear they work well and last! They look so chalky in the promo photos that are out there. Thanks for such a wonderful review! I am adding this blush to my wish-list!

  11. I will definitely try this blush! As a hygienist who wears a mask all day, I could really use a blush that lasts 12 hours. I just recently bought Tarte foundation for the first time and LOVE it. I have tried a lot of foundations over my 45 years, and this is by far my favorite. Thanks for the review, Tiffany!

  12. I know that you have mentioned in the past that you depot your eyeshadows and blushes. Is there a "trick" to doing this??? I am very apprehensive to take on this task for fear of ruining my makeup!!! :( Any advice you can give would be great!!!

  19. I ordered the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed, the Smooth Operator Micronized Clay Finishing Powder and the At Ease Micronized Clay Calming Concealer. It says that it minimizes pores and calms redness and that would be great. Can't wait to try them out. Thank you for making us aware of this line <3

  23. What could be the dupe of Tarte Exposed? I live in Bangkok. It is too hard to get Tarte blush from here. :( Very sad, so if you could please kindly share us what could be the dupe for it, that would be so much kind of you. Thank you.
