Foundation Application & Review: Nars Sheer Glow

I thought it was about time to post an updated foundation routine. Especially now since I've been trying a new foundation with great results -- the Nars Sheer Glow liquid. Check out the video below for a full review of this product as well as a demonstration of how I apply it.

  1. Hi! I use the NARS Punjab Sheer Glow too and really like it. I've never tried MUFE - can you tell me what shade you use? Thanks!

  2. I have seen so many guru's review this foundation... I think I may try it. But like you I rarely try out new foundations once I find something that works. Great review. Your skin looks great even before having it on!

  3. I also use NARS sheerglow & I looooooooooove it. & I agree that the only bad thing about it is that it doesnt have a pump so I think in the long run you end up wasting more product than if you actually had a pump. Good review!

  4. First of all, it's the first time I post a comment here and i got to say I love all of your reviews and make up tutorials. I never tried Nars sheerglow foundation but, seems to be great like my favorite: Make Up Forever Mat+Velvet Foundation. Maybe I'll give it a try someday...

  8. I used a liquid foundation without a pump and the salesperson said to use a q-tip - No double dipping! and apply to face that way.

    Works well for me!

  10. I don't have real oily skin, but I have VERY oily eyelids. I've tried soooo many eye primers and everything creases/slides a few hours into my day. Do you have any suggestions? Paint Pots seem to be the worst. Shade sticks crease. UDPP/TFSI, Facefront's primer all crease and slide :(

  14. Hello Tiffany,
Great Great work i love it, this is my first post that i would like to ask you about the under eye powder, i've alway's had powder on the concealer to set it, but it alway's made me look older, you know when it gets into the wrinkle's it makes the skin looks more dry and wrinkly, i would like to know about the benefit powder, is it the same as the laura mercier concealer with the powder under neath?
    Thank you

  15. Hi,Tiffany!First of all, great review.Could you post some pictures of your skin made in a natural lightning?I'm just very interested in how natural NARS vs MAT VELVET are looking, because in a natural/day light it's best observable.Thank you so much!

  16. i think "NARS Sheer Glow" is a pretty misleading name :p

i've used it once and might have applied too much because when i think of the words sheer and glow, i don't think matte and dry. that being said i absolutely loved the coverage (i have major breakouts at the moment and this covered them up nicely). i love that i didn't have to put too much concealer on. i'd kind of given up on liquid foundation when i tried this product and i'm so glad i've finally found one with the perfect coverage and in the perfect shade!

  17. Hi Tiffany, I was watching your video and you weren't thrilled that the Nars Foundation didn't have a pump but I looked on their website and there is one.. it says it is "currently unavailable".. convenient, right? Thanks for your tutorials!
