Hola!!! This look is excellent, as usual! I wanted to asked you if you could do another kim kardashian make up tutorial. Because I love her make up style. And I want to see how to have that glow on the face, with neutral eyeshadows and nude lips. I hope you can understand me and asnwer me.
Hey Tiffany! As always this is a very pretty look. I really love brown color on my lids (I have brown eyes w/ warm skin tone) and sometimes brown doesn't look exciting so I'm always looking for new ways to jazz it up. Thank you for showing me new options.
I love this simple and sexy look. I was one of the many that asked for this tutorial, so I have to thank you for recording it, you're lovely.
I don't like CS products, and I know we can use any other brand's similar colours to recreate this look, but I would like to know what NARS or MAC shadows you think would work better for this (Surabaya, Cordura??) I can't tell the exact color on screen, all I know is that the final effect is gorgeus, so I would be very very thankful if you could kindly tell us MAC or NARS dupes for the CS colors you use. Thanks anyway, Tiffany.
Hey Tiffany! I would like to second Nikky's question. I'm personally not a fan of CS stuff...just doesn't work for me. But MAC dupes would be greatly appreciated! As usual, I love the look!!
Do you use any lash growth products??? You have really pretty lashes. I have been using Latisse for 5 weeks and I am excited about seeing full results in a few more months.
I knew tons of people were going to request this look and I was just waiting patiently for you to succumb!! Love it. Going to try to re-create it with what I have tomorrow. Thanks for all the fab videos!!
I'd also like to third Nikky and Sarah, I know you said that you don't like to suggest dupes - but it would be really helpful, especially MAC... just to give us some ideas as sometimes the colors show up differently on camera. :)
Tiffa ny please i would really appreciate it if you can writte the MAC dupes for this look...i really love it but i would like to use MAC products!!! THANK YOU
Hi! I'm a 17 year old girl from Norway. And I've been reading your blog, and watched your makeup videos since i bumped into one of your makeup v trough another, norwegian makeup bloger. During a couple of months, my interrest for makeup has grown, and you'r a big inspiration for me. I just wanted you to know, and say thank you for introducing me to this world of makup. Now, I've realized that makeup is probably something I want to work with in the futre.
Hey! I love you videos & posts, thank you so much for taking the time to do them!
This look is perfect for the day and night. For a night look, I might even add some black to the crease and blend it in. I might even throw on some cranberry lipstick. :)
yeah i agree with Nikki and the other girls. i have the 88 shimmer palette and not crazy about it, too much fallout. so i would love some MAC colors to replace those you used. thanks so much ~lindsey~
I love the look (Actually all your looks). And after reading all the comments and thinking, maybe you could just swatch the colors on your hand and post a pic of that, instead of listing MAC dupes, that way we can kind of match colors that we have to your swatches!!!
I love all your looks. You are awesome! I like the idea of using the CS pallete; it's good and affordable for most people who watch you from all over the world. :)) Thanks a lot!
Beautiful look (as usual)!! I don't even dare to post some pics of me over the web, lousy skin .. you have to teach us your secret for perfect skin!!! Concealers and Foundation don't do all the miracles!! Cheers, Ana, from Portugal
hi Tiffany, was wondering what is the difference between the F.Y. Eye with the silver lid and the one with the white lid??? they show both on Amazon and not sure which one to get. thanks for any info!
I'm waiting on a good online coupon to pop up so I could order that palette. All the colors on it looks really usable.
Here's a video request for ya, just incase you're wondering what to do next. I would love a wedding makeup how-to. I'll be a bride soon, and I know it's best to wear darker makeup than usual so it could show up in pictures better. I just don't want to look like a clown either. haha.
Love your blogs and I love your tweets! You help me to remember how fun makeup could be...not to mention you help in my love for Lush!
Hey Tiffany! I love watching videos...your such a great make-up artist:D My question for you is what are some great afforable eyeshadows to use???That will last long?? I have very pale skin with blue eyes so its hard for me to put dark eyeshadow and blue shadows on..lol but i see that you have blue eyes, but I'm fair skinned..Do u have any tips?? Thanks, Nicole Hinesville Ga
NicoleP: As for cheaper shadows that are long wearing and have good payoff, I'd seriously recommend the 88 palettes. I linked to it in the post. Also, try NYX. They are sold at Ulta and on their website.
Anonymous- I believe the differences in the lid color for the F.Y.Eye is just packaging. I know a while back they changed the packaging on a lot of the Benefit products so it could be it. I know the silver is the most current one :)
texanqt63: Thanks :) That gray top is one of those long sleeved cardigans that has the long fronts that are kind of flowy...like you can wrap it up. if that makes sense! haha I got it from a store called Francescas.
Ana- Believe it or not, I had some serious skin issues about 6 months ago and the MAC Studio Finish concealer (applied with a foundation brush over breakouts) and the Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet + foundation were my saviors. But going back on the pill and Proactiv cleared up my skin.
Jessica Bradford- that brush is from coastalscents.com
Denny- Yes! This combo looks great with darker skin-- just because it's got kind of that taupe-y cooler brown element to it that jazzes up the brown a bit :)
Thank you for posting this look, its my favorite so far :)
Could you tell me if the colors in the MAC smoke and mirrors palate would work for this look? Here is a link: http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CAT1906&PRODUCT_ID=6736
I recreated this look using what I have in MAC and thought I might share this so you guys would have an idea and Tiffany would get a break from all the questions about dupes...hope this helps =) Thanks Tiffany for another great tutorial!!!
Indianwood paint pot on the lid as base (optional), Texture blended out above the crease, Satin Taupe all over the lid, Rice Paper in the inner tear ducts sweeping lightly up to the brown and over Satin Taupe half way in, espresso in the crease, and soft brown to blend out the edges.
Indianwood on lid, Satin Taupe all over lid, All That Glitters on inner part of the lid, Soft Brown to blend out crease, Embark in outer v, and Shroom as a highlight.
@Antoinette...Glad the colors work out for you too. I never thought of putting Satin Taupe all over the lid until this tutorial. I received tons of compliments on the look from everyone =). Thanks Tiffany!!!!
It's really a pitty that you answer to another girls and not to me. I mean... I'm from Argentina so you could feel happy that people from another country follow you. But maybe I'm wrong.
Love love love all the tuorials and all the great beauty info. I feel like I've found my beauty home. I'm glad I'm not the only PRODUCT freak. :) Keep up all the good work and great info.
Was playing with colors and found the almost perfect match for this look in Mac.
brown base (i use indianwood on lid) sable all over the lid on top of the base all that glitters on upper inner tear duct rice paper underneath tear duct embark outer V Brule or whatever highlight you have
was playing with color and found the almost perfect match for this look using Mac and if you use the same technique Tiffany demonstrated, the look is phenomenon for everyday wear (updated)
brown base (used Indianwood on lid) Texture blended out well above crease Sable all over the lid and bottom lid 3/4 way in All that glitters in the inner tear ducts Rice paper on the lower part of inner tear ducts Soft brown to blend out the edges Highlight- used Brule
I might be a little late with commenting here, hopefully not though! First off, great look. I'd been getting pretty bored with my day-to-day routine, and when I saw this video I knew I'd found my new staple. Thanks so much Tiffany =D
Anyways, now for my question that has absolutely nothing to do with the makeup: what nail color are you wearing?! For what feels like forever I've been looking for a great neutral nude polish; as soon as I saw your fingers I had a little freak out moment haha. I didn't see it listed as a color in your polish reviews (I might just be blind though, wouldn't be the first time). Thanks a ton missy!
Hi Tif, I just receive my pallette from CS ans I did that look. But I don't know why but the result is not the same. On my eyes it's a lot darker and it look all bown... can you give me your opinion on that ? Thank a lot... and again you are the best... love your videos Isabelle
Sooo I'm quite late in commenting here but I just watched this video. Love it! Your eye makeup tutorials are really helpful. However, I was wondering if you could tell us what nail polish you are wearing in the part where you say "I cut out this part" and you point to the color (around 2:53 in the video). It's a really pretty berry color. Thanks! :)
Hi! My name is Brenna. I just stumbled upon your blog and love it! I've tried a few of your tutorials and they've worked out great. Thank you!! I love this look and was just wondering if there are some MAC colors you can suggest that would produce the same result? I own a lot of MAC products, but not this pallet you used here.
