Fashion- Nude Pumps



I think an essential shoe that all women need in their wardrobe is a basic nude pump. I like to go with a closed-toe style so it can be worn any time of year. A nude pump really elongates your legs and goes with virtually everything. I particularly love them in patent leather. Especially right now, I think this particular style of shoe is very of-the-moment, but totally classic at the same time. This is a shoe to invest in because you'll have it for years. This similar nude patent leather platform pump style by Christian Louboutin has been either sold out or really difficult to find. But you can find great more affordable options from several brands. I especially love these BCBG pumps to the left (I have these)-- You can find them at Nordstrom :)

  4. omg i love nude pumps!!! but i like them to be peep-toe pumps! they look so cute with red toe nail polish...but you're right about the closed-toe style being good for all year around. great post! :)

  5. 20 years ago, my mom had similar pairs in almost all the colors..... now, she still have them! haha. Pretty cool that it never goes out of style!

  10. I guess I don't mean to be a buzzkill, but these are only nude if you're white.

    However, I DO love the way anyone's legs are elongated by this look when I wear heels that are skin-toned-and the styles you picked are fabulous.

  17. I never can wear the right kinda pump...they seem to kinda pinch me and make me feel uncomfortable after awhile...maybe I just need a bigger size or a better pump...but I love theseeee!!

  19. a!k0 = good tip for wearing heel/pumps (or any shoe that can get a little uncomfortable after a while)-- apply a little vaseline where the shoe rubs your skin....this works just the same as Johnson & Johnson "Blister Block". Also, inserting a gel insole adds extra padding/comfort and can make the heel fit a little more snugly. Hope this helps!!

    I have a quick question pertaining to nude pumps/shoes..here goes: say I wore nude pumps with a navy suit, would that work?

    I ask, because I have many outfits I rarely wear, due to not having the proper shoe color to match.

    For some reason they have to match (navy shoe, navy suit).. it's insanity! ..what's mooore insane is that nude shoes NEVER even occurred to me!! omg! duh!lol

    So..To sum up all my babble, Nude shoes will work with ALL colors? ..including dark colors?

Hopefully you receive this, I know this post is a little old BUT I just bought a pair of these shoes from the Victoria's Secret website and I was hoping you can let me know what to wear these with? I really don't wear skinny jeans or leggings. I wear boot cut jeans mostly, do you think these type of shoes would look good with boot cut jeans? Honestly?
