August certainly holds some exciting things... I guess the collection I'm most excited about is the nail polish one-- Just because I think it's interesting that MAC is devoting a whole collection just to those, and they look amazing. However, most of you know of my little love/hate relationship with MAC nailpolishes, so I'm sincerely hoping that they have improved the formula for this collection. Of course, the Makeup Art Cosmetics collection looks exciting-- with the pretty colors and of course, the eye shadow quads (I'm a sucker for those). As for Flirt with Fall, I'm not too excited, just because it's false lashes and I don't really buy a lot of those for myself and my kit is pretty stocked with those. But if any interesting ones catch my eye in person, I might cave :)
Here are my little wishlists for the three collections in August:
Makeup Art Cosmetics:
It sounds like there will be some pretty lipcolors, but as always, I need to check those out in person first. The quads sound great--Except for In the Gallery, because it contains Lightfall, which in my opinion is one of MAC's most pointless colors. So even if the other colors in the quad are gorgeous, it will be hard for me to justify that one. I'm pretty much screwed where the individual eye shadows are concerned. Just because I LOVE eye shadows and I own only one of those already. So all the others are automatically on the list--unless they happen to suck in person. The bright colors of the technakohl liners have also seriously caught my eye... Saving begins now!

I'm not really excited for the nail collection, just because I don't really want to spend all that money on nail polish. I do however want the Photo Realism quad from the Makeup Art Cosmetics Collection, mainly because I don't have many green e/s. I might also pick up one of the other quads.
The eyeliners and pigments also look good, but I'll decide which ones to get once they're out. :)
I have no MAC store near me whatsoever so I'm always pretty gutted when I see any new MAC products however I do love the lipsticks and lipglosses and the 'permanent' well-known eyeshadows e.g, carbon *must-have*. and I know I can easily order from the internet but well Imma fussy one and I like to see the products up-close. i mix reflects in with some cheapy nyx glosses, and it gives them a "dazzleglass" look without the thickness, which i happen to like. but its the price you pay for NOT having to pay $18 for such a small tube.
i love that the nail lacquers are gonna be a cream finish, it makes me want all of them, but like you, i have to see them in person first.
lastly, for the flirt with fall collection, i`m mosdef looking into getting #45 & #47. pretty much just the LE ones ..

I always find it very difficult to judge the products just by seeing the pics. In the past, I've often thought I'd like a certain product and then, when I saw it in person, I was disappointed (and vice versa). But anyway, my first impression/wishlist is the following:

As for the lash collection, I don't wear false lashes so I'm not too interested in this collection.
I'm kind of on the fence about the nail polishes... There are some beautiful fall colors and fall IS my favorite season BUT from what I've tried of their polishes I wasn't too impressed. I might just be tempted to grab one and if I'm satisfied I might have to grab more.
I really love Dry Martini, Beyond Jealous, and Dance All Night though! :D
