Nails: Mellow Yellow

OPI Banana Bandana

Yellow nails are SO fun for summer! I love the soft buttery (but bright) shade of this particular yellow. The formula honestly wasn't bad either. At 2 coats, it was pretty opaque. Up close, it does look a lil' streaky, but it's still gorgeous, nonetheless!

LOVE it! So cute! I was shopping in Ulta today and bought a couple OPI nail colors and kept coming back to the yellow but never got it (I'm not too much of a "risk taker" w/ nail colors) .... this post really makes me want to try it out!! Greenwich Village looked fun too!! =)

This is a really pretty color! Tiffany there is this one color I am in love with and I don't know if you have it or have heard of it - Mod About You!! This color is amazing, it just took me forever to find it. Ulta, Target, Trade Secret, and some local nail salons did not have it, the lady at Ulta said it must be discontinued but I was able to find it on several online sites. I actually got lucky and just found mine two days ago at a local spa that had two left so its possible that some places may still carry it!!

I love this yellow too! I saw it on another blog too, and now it's definitely on my wish list.

I guess I am alone on this but I actually don't like yellow for nails. It probably stems from the fact that when I wore it once a few years ago my uncle did a double take and thought I had a strange nail fungus.....Needless to say I haven't worn it since!

Not a fan of yellow nail polish....reminds me too much of the day-glo 80s.

Wow that's a beautiful color for summer. Have you tried Sula products? Is so, how do you like them?

I think this is a gorgeous color. I don't think I can pull off yellows.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago and love it! It's the only yellow nail polish I've had on that actually flatters my nails :)

Hi Tiffany..! I use white as my basecoat when I painted my nails with this yellow. I did the same with very opaque colors like the OPI Gargantuan Green Grape. I apply two coats of white and then another two of Banana Bandana.

I look forward to more of your nail reviews!
