This color totally reminds me of Kermit the frog...haha. It's unusual, but I'm loving it. The first coat was a little odd. It went on kinda streaky, but the second coat evened things up perfectly. Love it.
oh that's SUCH an awesome color! I just bought one very similar from ORLY called mint mojito. :D do you do your nails yourself? they always look gorgeous..if so any tips cause I am newly obsessed with nails :D and so far mine come out yucky when I do them myself.
You have totally inspired me to start branching out in my nail polish colors. My friends were teasing me the other day because everything I have goes from peach to pink to red. I can't wait to branch out! :) I'm looking forward to trying to find For Audrey from China Glaze, that color looks amazing. I love how creamy it and Green-Wich Village looks on your nails. Oh, and I do like your natural nails better than the acrylics, they are so much prettier.
Sorry, I am just babbling... :) Thanks for all the info you are putting out there. It's all awesome! :)
I saw this while checking out at Ulta the other day and I HAD to have it!! lol maybe I'm just a gigantic nerd, but it makes me super smiley to think my favorite beauty guru likes it too..... I need therapy. :D
Also Tiffany, I have a question. I remember you mentioning wearing acrylics and removing them to grow your natural nails and what not. I was wondering how did you get your natural nails to grow and strengthen them when you removed your acrylics?
I just put in my order to 8ty9beauty yesterday for all colours of the psychedelic rainbow, leaving my colleagues flabbergasted coz I'm a pretty strait lace gal as far as outfit colours are concerned.
So nice in your handsss, but mine uffff. Would you do someday a tutorial to keep nails as you have,so beautiful prepared, cuticle and so on ;), I want itttt!!!!
wow, I love that color. I don't usually like green nails. but I wear a lot of green clothes and this color would match them perfectly. too bad that we don't get OPI polishes at an affordable price here in germany.
i grabbed this at ulta a few weeks ago cuz it was an interesting green. i was disappointed with the first coat cuz it was weird and more yellowy than i expected. but the 2nd coat was like "oh yeah" haha. i think its funny that we usually get the same nail polishes, i must have good taste! haha :)
Makeupnewbie: yes, I do them myself. I actually have never had really nice nails...I've just recently started taking care of them :)
Kristina: I found it at Ulta :) About the acrylics, I only had them for a month, so they weren't too badly damaged. I just carefully removed them and buffed out the unevenness with one of those 4 sided nail buffers :)
Gemma: A nail care video is coming very soon :)
Laurel: I *think* so...not sure though. I know I get my China Glaze there but I don't remember if they have OPI b/c I've never bought any there
I love the colors! Being a mom really doesn't promote a manicure, but I love having my toes painted funky! Electric blue is my current color. Rock on, girl!
I would love to know how to remove acrylics. I've had mine on for about 3-4 weeks now and I'm keeping them on till my brothers wedding next month. So how do you go about taking them off? Cuz I'm dying to try out some new polish colors I got :)

Who do I "blame"? My beloved gurus... WOOT!
Ooo pretty! Has inspired me to wear green nails today, courtesy of BarryM not OPI however :-)

ReplyDeleteThats gorgeous, can you get opi from sallys?x
ReplyDeleteAll of my lighter, lime-green-like nail polishes start streaky. Gargantuan Green Grape from OPI is really bad, but it looks pretty in the end.
ReplyDeleteI have been staring at that color every time I pass the salon in my mall...I think I'm going to have to get it now...
