New Urban Decay Cream Shadows

These new gel- based cream shadows from Urban Decay are simply amazing. The colors are absolutely insane...from the brightest blues and deep emerald greens to more natural shades, there is something for everyone.
What they are...

Urban Decay Cream Shadow channels the sex appeal of the 70's and the science of today. Whipped to perfection, each shimmering shade dries to a weightless layer of color that will not crease, fade, or hide in fine lines. Unlike most cream shadows, the gel-based formula features silicone technology, allowing time to blend, correct, and smudge. Once dry, shadow is light and as flexible as your own skin. -Sephora.com

I tried every single one of them and the colors are quite impressive. They are $17 each and there are 12 shades to choose from. I purchased two, Whipped (a peachy gold) and Delinquent (a deep, but bright purple). I have a feeling I'll be back for Radium (yep, the same gorgeous blue as the liquid liner) and Grass (a bright emerald).

Delinquent and Whipped:
I love the packaging. The wand is a doe-foot applicator. Or, you can apply by squeezing product directly from the tube. (Why can't they make the Primer Potion in a larger container like this??)

Swatches:

So, do they crease. How do they wear throughout the day. My NARS cream eyeshadow....grrrr...creases in less than 10 minutes so I am really trying to find a true cream shadow rather than just another base. What did you experience?

These aren't a typical "cream" shadow. They're more like a MAC Paint, but thinner. They are not supposed to crease because once they "set" or dry, they won't melt again with your body heat into the creases on the lid like the Nars cream eyeshadow (as you mentioned) can. I hope this helps :)

Wow this look heaps nice and the
best thing they won't bleed like most liquid eyeshadows do. Have to keep a eye ut for these babies. =)

You must be reading my mind! I went to Ulta yesterday with a mind to purchase these, but they weren't there. I noticed the stock was kind of low, so I'm wondering if they haven't stocked up a lot due to the economy. Anyway, I'll have to check them out at Sephora. I love cream shadows and like to wear them by themselves. Will you wear these by themselves or under eyeshadow?

Omg I totally have one of these from back in the day, like what? 5 years ago or something like that, I stole it from my older sister.
The new ones look way different:)
I have this gold one and it comes out perfectly and really work as a base.
I need to buy some new ones since mine is ancient hahahhaah.

Yes they had these before and then they discontinued them, I wondered why. I had the dreaded inevitable ubiquitous 'Midnight Cowboy' but it worked amazing as a base, literally must be same ingredients in it as UDPP. You are so right, the genie bottle should just be a squeazy tube!
